Alpha is for anyone looking to find out more about the Christian faith. It offers a rare opportunity to ask the big questions in life.

The course contains a series of short videos: Who is Jesus? Why did Jesus die? Why and how should I read the Bible? Why and how should I pray? What is the Holy Spirit? Does God heal today? What about the church?

Alpha is for everyone, particularly those interested in investigating Christianity, newcomers to the church, new Christians, or those wishing to re-acquaint themselves with the basics.

A typical evening will start with a bite to eat, followed by a short introduction and chat, then everyone watches a video. Afterwards everyone will come back together, then discuss any issues or questions that you might have in small groups. Alpha is a place where all questions are valid. If there is no talk on an area that concerns you, there will still be time and space to discuss it.

Whether you want to investigate the existence of God, are concerned about what happens after death or have particular questions that you would like to discuss, this course will take you right back to the basics of the Christian faith.
