On Sunday we looked at some of the key foundations of Jubilee Church. Reminding ourselves of Isaiah 61 and the year of Jubilee we considered 8 Apostolic Foundations:
- Who we are in Christ by grace
- Church is family
- We are the temple
- Led by anointed team of leaders
- Committed to world mission
- Committed to bring the Kingdom of God
- Understand difficulty as part of the Kingdom of God
- Prophetically guided
Thinking about church as a family I spent a little bit of time talking about our small groups. In your group this week you may like to consider:
- To what extent is our group like a family?
- Are we able to be a place where hurting people are comforted and confused people receive love and direction?
- Is this small group a place of discipleship where we get a kingdom perspective and equip each other to make a difference to the world around us in our daily lives?
